The OMEN Psychoanalytical Journal started in 1991. It was the first and only psychoanalytic publication in Romania. After a period of
silence of about seven years, due to financial issues, it started to appear again with a quarterly frequency which was somehow stable.
The review was issued by the AROPA editorial staff and managed by Mr.
Jean Chiriac, editor-in-chief and AROPA President.
The purpose of this periodical is to promote the clinical and theoretical psychoanalysis and therefore is addressed to all readers that are fond of
psychoanalysis.
A great deal of the published articles have an informative and guiding character and are thus addressed to readers that have no advanced experience with psychoanalysis matters.
AROPA
published also several books with psychoanalytical content, including a collection of papers of Sigmund Freud related to the psychoanalytic approach of the occult phenomena, and a collection of papers by
Carl Jung on the dream interpretation method.
